Overview
To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox and Halo, we were tasked with designing a Halo themed skin for Microsoft Solitaire. The project features original art for the card back, pips, face cards, and background.
In designing the face cards, we researched traditional motifs and tried to incorporate as much of those design themes as much as possible. For example the Jack of Spades and Jack of Hearts are known as one-eyed jacks which means you only see the sides of their faces and only one eye is shown.

Halo 20th Anniversary Playing Cards
Due to an overwhelming response to the Microsoft Solitaire theme deck, a physical playing card deck was made available to purchase from Xbox Gear Shop.
Additional designs were needed for the tuck case and joker cards.
